🥂L’année 2026 a démarré dans la convivialité avec la traditionnelle galette des rois de l’UFE Thaïlande, organisée ce mardi 6 janvier chez notre fidèle partenaire Copadeli.

Accueil chaleureux, punch de bienvenue, charcuteries, fromages, salades, rôti de bœuf… et bien sûr, la galette couronnant une soirée festive et animée.

Près de 40 participants, membres et non-membres, ont partagé ce beau moment dans une ambiance détendue et joyeuse.

Merci à Jean-Marc Delfarguiel pour l’organisation et à toute l’équipe de Copadeli pour leur accueil.

Retour sur la Grande Soirée UFE Thaïlande – 2 décembre 2025

Cette soirée a été l’occasion de tous nous retrouver, de partager de bons moments autour du buffet sur les chansons de Gainsbourg par le Serge Gainsbourg Tribute Christophe Gerber Quartet et de continuer de danser sur les musiques de notre DJ Jerome.

  • Après son précédent livre Histoire du Siam et de la Thaïlande, l’auteur nous invite à redécouvrir 340 ans de relations diplomatiques entre la France et le pays du Sourire.

  • De l’ambassade du chevalier de Chaumont auprès du roi Narai en 1685 à la visite du président français à Bangkok en 2022, cet ouvrage retrace les grandes étapes d’une amitié séculaire et sincère entre les deux nations.

du droit et de la justice est de retour !

« Le droit, garant de la sécurité juridique et de la protection des plus vulnérables ».

Ouvert aux professionnels, aux étudiants, aux médias et au grand public, cet événement réunira pendant une semaine juristes, universitaires, avocats, juges, procureurs, notaires et représentants des forces de l’ordre français et thaïlandais pour échanger autour des grands enjeux contemporains liés à la protection des citoyens et à l’accès à la justice.

Nous avons eu le plaisir de réunir nos membres pour une nouvelle édition du traditionnel repas des “Sans-Culottes”, organisé chez notre partenaire Oskar Bistro Bangkok autour d’un repas copieux et savoureux.

Le jeudi 12 juin 2025, le collectif des associations françaises de Thaïlande, dont l’UFE Thaïlande est membre, a organisé une rencontre exceptionnelle sur le thème du vieillissement de la population française et avenir de la Caisse des Français de l’Étranger (CFE)

Avec la présence de Florian Bohême, Coordinateur des Assises de la protection sociale, Président de la Commission des Affaires sociales de l’Assemblée des Français de l’Étranger, récemment nommé au Conseil d’administration de la CFE.

C’était l’ occasion de faire le point sur les enjeux actuels et futurs de la CFE, pilier de la protection sociale pour les Français établis hors de France.

Conférence Juridico-Fiscale, très intéressante au Landmark Hotel

 En effet, notre nouveau membre, Maître Frédéric DAL VECCHIO, du Barreau de Versailles, est venu de Neuilly nous exposer les nouveautés de la nouvelle loi de finance 2025, tout en rappelant les fondamentaux qui y sont confirmés.

 

Beaucoup de sujets ont été abordés :

 

- la procédure du rescrit,

-les notions de résidence et de domicile fiscal,

- les plus-values des particuliers et leurs endettements possibles,

- la cotisation différentielle sur les hauts revenus (CDHR),

- le management package,

etc.

 

Des sujets certes un peu techniques, qui ont été toutefois parfaitement expliqués par notre expert.

 

Le cocktail qui a suivi a permis, pour ceux qui le désiraient, de poursuivre la discussion à bâtons rompus avec Maître Dal Vecchio.

 

Ce dernier, également professeur de fiscalité à l’université de Phnom Phen et à Chulalongkorn, aura l’occasion de nous visiter à nouveau et d’intervenir sur d’autres sujets de droit fiscal.

Masters Pétanque UFE du 8 mars 2025

Le Masters annuel de Pétanque UFE - Décathlon, organisé au PAT Stadium การท่าเรือแห่งประเทศไทย คลองเตย, a été une belle réussite, réunissant une soixantaine de passionnés dans une ambiance à la fois compétitive et conviviale. Le superbe buffet méditerranéen a régalé tous les participants, offrant une variété de saveurs qui ont ajouté une touche gourmande à l'événement.

Cette année encore, nous avons eu la chance d'accueillir des joueurs venant de Pattaya, Hua Hin et bien d’autres endroits, renforçant ainsi les liens entre les communautés françaises. La finale, quant à elle, a été durement disputée, avec des équipes déterminées jusqu'à la dernière seconde pour décrocher la victoire.

Un immense merci à Decathlon Thailand ดีแคทลอน ประเทศไทย, qui a été un sponsor clé de cet événement, à KohkaeThailand et Nan Ah Hospital pour leur soutien indispensable. Grâce à leur générosité, nous avons pu organiser une journée mémorable et de grande qualité.

Nous sommes impatients de renouveler cette expérience l'année prochaine, avec encore plus de participants et de moments inoubliables à partager. Merci à tous d’avoir contribué à faire des Masters de Pétanque 2025 un événement exceptionnel !

Soirée raclette du 27 février 2025

Super soirée raclette à volonté hier soir chez notre partenaire Cagette Canteen & Deli. Nous avons tous savouré du fromage délicieux accompagné d'excellentes charcuteries maison. Le tout était parfaitement assorti de bons vins et quelques douceurs sucrées pour finir ce repas sur une note gourmande. Un grand merci à Cédric Cador, le chef de Cagette, pour son accueil chaleureux et généreux.

Cet après-midi, nous avons eu le plaisir d'accueillir Renaud Carrascosa et son épouse à Bangkok. Renaud est le président distingué de la nouvelle UFE des Îles Fidji, une association qui vient tout juste de célébrer ses trois premiers mois. Notre président, Christophe Larrouilh et Bernard Collin, notre webmaster, l'ont chaleureusement convié à un déjeuner chez Bacchus&Co, un restaurant français partenaire.

L'échange a principalement porté sur les défis et opportunités liés à la création d'une section UFE dans un pays aussi unique. Nous adressons tous nos vœux de réussite à l'UFE Fidji."

Tournoi de pétanque de l’UFE THAÏLANDE 2023 !

Cette année, le tournoi de pétanque de l’Union des Français de l’Étranger en Thaïlande a connu un grand succès avec la participation de 24 équipes venues de toute la Thaïlande. Le tournoi a été organisé en six poules de quatre équipes chacune, offrant ainsi une chance égale à toutes les équipes de se qualifier pour les phases finales.

La grande finale du tournoi opposait les équipes de Laurent et Alexandre à celle d’Adeline et Pierrick. La bataille a été intense, mais c’est finalement l’équipe de Laurent et Alexandre qui a remporté la coupe des champions avec un score de 13 à 11. Adeline et Pierrick ont cependant montré un jeu remarquable et sont repartis avec la tête haute.

Les vainqueurs ont été récompensés avec des prix fantastiques offerts par nos partenaires. Ils ont reçu deux consultations gratuites d’une valeur de 5 000 bht chacune chez VOVAN & Associés, cabinet d'avocats de renom, ainsi que deux vouchers d’une valeur de 1 000 bht chacun chez notre partenaire Bacchus&Co French restaurant.

Les finalistes n'ont pas été en reste, eux aussi ont reçu des prix exceptionnels : deux consultations gratuites d'une valeur de 5 000 bht chacune chez VOVAN & Associés, ainsi que deux vouchers d'une valeur de 500 Bht chacun chez notre partenaire COPADELI.

Le tournoi a également offert un lot de consolation pour les équipes éliminées en quart de finale. L’équipe de Linda et Rémy a remporté la consolante avec un score de 13 à 9 contre Benjamin et Tanny. Ils ont reçu un voucher de 2 000 bht chez notre partenaire BACCHUS, restaurant Francais, Sukhumvit soi 16.

Nous tenons à remercier tous nos partenaires pour leur soutien généreux, ainsi qu’Elodie Dunand Sauthier et Christian pour leur aide précieuse lors de l'organisation du tournoi.

SOIRÉE GALETTE DES ROIS AU COPA DELI

Le vendredi 17 janvier 2025, l’UFE a réuni ses membres et amis pour une chaleureuse Soirée Galette des Rois, organisée en partenariat avec le bistrot Copa Deli. Cet événement convivial a rassemblé une quarantaine de participants, dont plusieurs non-membres, dans une ambiance détendue et gourmande.

Au programme : un buffet à volonté composé de charcuterie maison, salades, taboulé, pastas, viandes savoureuses et un punch savamment dosé. Les convives ont profité de moments d’échange autour du comptoir, sur les tables hautes et en terrasse.

L’un des moments forts de la soirée a été le découpage des galettes, célébré dans une ambiance festive. Pour certains, la soirée s’est poursuivie dans le quartier, dans la bonne humeur.

Un grand merci à Jean-Marc Delfarguiel et à Benjamin pour leur organisation flexible et impeccable, ainsi qu’à tous les participants pour leur bonne humeur. Nous vous donnons rendez-vous pour nos prochains événements !

La Grande soirée de l’UFE Thailande a été l’occasion de tous nous retrouver, de partager de bons produits français et de boire de bons vins. Et surtout de danser sur les musiques de notre DJ Jerome. Le tout dans la somptueuse Ballroom de Pullman Bangkok Hotel G Silom.

RETOUR SUR LA CONFÉRENCE “L’EXPATRIÉ CONFRONTÉ AU DROIT PÉNAL THAÏ”

Conférence passionnante hier à l’Alliance Française de Bangkok sur le droit criminel thaï applicable à l'expatrié.

Beaucoup de thèmes ont été abordés. Par Mme la Consule concernant les victimes d'accidents, par Madame le Commissaire Font et Monsieur le Juge Redonnet concernant la coopération entre les polices thaïes et françaises, et par notre Président qui a livré son expertise d'avocat.

En conclusion oui le droit criminel thaï vous protège en tant que victime d'infraction, mais le droit français peut aussi parfaire cette protection.

Oui le droit criminel thaï est plus sévère que le droit pénal français et il convient donc d'être d'une prudence de tous les instants.

Chaque professionnel présent a pu donner quelques exemples concrets qui sont venus illustrer leurs exposés.

Et l'on a du mettre un terme aux classiques questions/réponses de fin de conférence sans quoi nous y serions encore !

Le 14 Juillet à l’Ambassade

L'ambassade de France a fait les choses en grand pour célébrer le 14 juillet (exceptionnellement fêté le 15).

1300 invités dans l'immense ballroom du Eastin Grand Hotel Phayathai, de nombreux exposants, des artistes lyriques pour chanter la marseillaise, un orchestre de musique de chambre pour jouer les standards de la chanson française, le tout autour d'un magnifique buffet.

Monsieur l'Ambassadeur Poimboeuf a fait un discours, clair, convainquant, et également émouvant lorsqu'il a évoqué les relations bilatérales entre la Thaïlande et la France.

Il était de plus possible de le suivre en Anglais et en Thaï sur les immenses écrans retranscrivant les sous-titrages.

Une vraie réussite !

Notre vice-Présidente et notre Président y étaient conviés. Ils ont pu tester, s'il en était besoin, la popularité de l'UFE au nombre de poignées de mains qu'ils ont été amenés à serrer.

La soirée du 14 Juillet chez Oskar

Très belle célébration du 14 juillet hier chez Oskar.

Une trentaine de sans-culottes se sont attablés à l'étage toujours aussi cozi.

La Belgique et la Suisse étaient également représentées. Il y a avait même un représentant de l'UFE Hong-Kong.

La soirée s'est poursuivie au Bar, au son du DJ, bien apprécié par nos plus jeunes membres. Et elle s'est terminée dans une très proche boîte à Salsa jusqu'au bout de la nuit.

Quel coup de jeunes sur "l'UFE Thaïlande" hier soir !

La soirée corse chez Maison Philippe

La soirée corse organisée chez Maison Philippe a tenu toutes ses promesses. De nombreux convives ont pu goûter les spécialités de l’île de beauté : les charcuteries corses, la polenta, le rôti de cabri et bien sûr les crêpes soufflées au Broccio. Nous avons bien mérité les pousse-café typiques (myrte et cédratine), généreusement offerts par Philippe Peretti. Une expérience à renouveler à n’en pas douter !

Permanence UFE à l’Hôtel Pullman

Mardi 5 mars dernier, la permanence de l’UFE a enregistré un nouveau succès avec une quinzaine de membres et sympathisants autour de la table.

Tout le monde a pu profiter des huitres et des vins et bières pour passer un moment convivial et rencontrer les nouveaux membres.

Tournoi de pétanque 2024

Le samedi 2 mars, notre évènement Masters de pétanque 2024 a eu une nouvelle fois un succès fou.

Avec bien plus que 48 participants, nous avons dû faire des poules de 5 afin de faire jouer l’ensemble des participants présents.

À la fois dans la bonne humeur et le sérieux, les parties ont été acharnées.

Le buffet méditerranéen du soir a été pris d’assaut par tous nos sportifs ainsi que par leurs fans.

Enfin, les poules finales et les poules consolantes ont été jouées avec beaucoup d’application. Et ce, jusque tard dans la soirée.

De nombreux lots ont été distribués aux vainqueurs et aux finalistes, parmi lesquels de magnifiques boules de pétanques offertes par notre sponsor Décathlon.

Découvrez le Bistrot “Maison Philippe”

L’UFE organise prochainement un évènement en collaboration avec le chef Peretti : une Soirée Corse le 7 mars 2024. Pour cette occasion, il a concocté un menu 100% corse avec des produits du pays ; nous vous y attendons nombreux !

Pour cette occasion, nous sommes allés à la rencontre de notre nouveau partenaire, Philippe Peretti, qui a accepté de nous parler de son nouvel établissement et également de son long parcours de chef français aux airs de globe-trotteur.

Originaire du village de Pianottoli-Caldarello, Philippe Peretti a découvert l’univers de la gastronomie dès son jeunes âge par sa mère, qui était une cuisinière hors pair. Formé dans les divers restaurants de la famille Pinelli à Calvi et ses environs, il travaille à Paris quelques années puis fait des études de management en restauration en Angleterre. Il parcourt ensuite le monde, travaillant dans des établissements prestigieux à New York, à Hawaï, en Israël… Proche de la famille Sihanouk, il va travailler au Cambodge au Palais Royal. Mais le coup d’état en 1997 l’amène finalement en Thaïlande. C’est là qu’il fonde son restaurant gastronomique français, Philippe Restaurant, une des meilleures tables de Bangkok depuis 26 ans.

Fort de son expérience et friand de nouveaux défis, il décide récemment de créer Maison Philippe, un bistro dont il est à la fois le chef et le gestionnaire, qui sert une cuisine délicate dans une ambiance plus décontractée. Le choix du nom traduit l'objectif du chef : offrir un endroit chaleureux où les clients se sentent comme à la maison.

Le chef Peretti sait ce qu'il faut pour maintenir un standard élevé, son souci de la qualité et du détail transparait dans chaque assiette servie par une équipe souriante, qui lui est fidèle depuis le début.

Le Bistro fait aussi office de petite épicerie française, puisqu’il propose des plats à emporter faits maison par lui-même, tels que des soupes variées, du bœuf bourguignon, du pot-au-feu, des rillettes, des citrons confits… Conservables pendant 6 mois, ils offrent une alternative pratique pour les amateurs de bonne cuisine qui souhaitent déguster chez eux. Il vend aussi des produits importés directement de France, comme des sardines, du fromage et de la charcuterie de haute qualité.

Que vous soyez en quête d'une escapade gourmande en solo, d'un dîner entre amis ou d'un repas en famille, Maison Philippe est l'endroit idéal. Dans une atmosphère conviviale, vous pourrez retrouver un goût de France, et peut-être même de Corse, le temps d’un diner.

Conférence Equance le jeudi 8 février animée par Anne Lapierre notre membre UFE et Florent Houssais co-fondateur d'Equance.

Il faut dire que le sujet "La loi de Finances 2024" était particulièrement bien venue à l'approche des déclarations fiscales.

Le cocktail qui suivait, concocté par le Pullman G Silom, a permis de poursuivre la discussion avec nos intervenants.
